ReadoutKit

Privacy policy

What data this site collects, how advertising cookies are used, and how to control them.

Last updated: 21 August 2026.

This policy explains what ReadoutKit does with information when you use the site. The short version: the tools themselves never see your data, and the only information we handle comes from analytics and advertising.

What the tools do with your input

Every tool on this site runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Numbers you type, text you paste, and files you open are processed on your own device and are never transmitted to us or to anyone else. We do not receive them, store them, or log them. You can verify this by opening your browser's network inspector while using a tool, or by disconnecting from the network after the page has loaded — the tools keep working.

Some tools remember your last-used settings in your browser's local storage so the page is ready next time. That data stays on your device and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which tools people use and where the site is slow. It collects a truncated IP address, the pages visited, approximate location at country or region level, and general device and browser information. It does not collect anything you enter into a tool.

You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Advertising and cookies

This site is supported by advertising served through Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet.
  • You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings.
  • You can opt out of third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, a consent banner appears on your first visit. Your choices there control whether personalised advertising and analytics cookies are set, and you can change them at any time through the privacy controls in the page footer. Where you decline, ads are still shown but are not personalised.

What we do not do

  • We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect names or email addresses except when you write to us.
  • We do not sell or share personal information with data brokers.
  • We do not upload, inspect, or retain the files you open in the image and PDF tools.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, and to object to its processing. Because we do not maintain user accounts, the information covered by these rights is limited to what analytics and advertising partners collect — use the opt-out links above, or write to us and we will help.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the date at the top of this page will be updated. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised policy.
